If sources are to be believed Arshi Khan’s last phone call was to none other than former Pakistani cricketer and captain Shahid Afridi, reveals her publicist Flynn Remedios in an exclusive interview to IndiaScribes.com.
Yes, it’s true. Just before she switched off her mobile phone – Bigg Boss inmates are not allowed use of their mobile phones and are prohibited from any contact with the outside world, while inside the house – Arshi Khan dialed Shahid Afridi’s personal mobile number.
We are not sure if the call connected or not, because Arshi Khan’s publicist Flynn Remedios said she looked a bit disappointed.
Now we have more information about this: Arshi Khan’s publicist Flynn Remedios told IndiaScribes.com that Arshi Khan must have tried to call Afridi over 200 times in the day before she entered the Bigg Boss house.
Speaking to IndiaScribes.com, Remedios said: “Arshi Khan is not just my client. She is a dear friend and in fact treats me like her father. I know for sure she tried to dial Shahid Afridi’s personal mobile number, but I cannot say if the call connected and if Arshi did speak to Afridi at that time. I did not see what exactly transpired, but she looked a bit disappointed afterwards, possibly because she was not able to speak to Afridi,” Remedios said adding that she made several calls to Afridi and must have made over 200 calls to the former Pak cricket captain in the hours before she entered the Bigg Boss house. But unfortunately for Arshi – maybe Afridi was travelling or had recently changed his mobile number and the call could not connect as the call returned a “switched off” message.
Two years ago, Arshi had claimed that she was in love with Afridi, reports the Tribune from Pakistan.
After rumours surfaced that she was seen with Afridi in Dubai, the model had first refuted them on Twitter saying, “I have lots of friends and relatives in Dubai and travel to Dubai very often. A lot of Pakistani cricketers are seen visiting, shopping and partying in Dubai and regular visitors to Dubai meet them often. This does not mean I am dating Afridi.”
In 2016, the model claimed in an interview that she was three months pregnant and her mother would be very happy if she was pregnant with Afridi’s baby. She also went on to say that the famous Pakistani cricketer had accepted her. But she later described her pregnancy as a “false alarm” claims the Tribune.
“Did I ever say I was pregnant with Afridi’s baby? Actually to set matters straight, it was a false alarm. A proper test has confirmed now, that I am not pregnant,” she said in an interview. “Even I was shocked and surprised, because I had not made out for a long time, yet I skipped my periods for two months in a row and when I just ran an OTC (over the counter) test, it came out positive. So, I was scared like hell. But a detailed test showed that I just had some hormonal issues.”
